A hazard-free home environment reduces the risk of injuries and promotes independence. One avoidable Fall is the beginning of many hospital visits and unnecessary expenses and that’s why we focus on a Hazard free environment. History shows one fall is the beginning of the end if not properly felt with
Access to Nature
oooohhhhh Yes …. Time spent in natural settings improves mood, reduces stress, and encourages physical activity. We encourage a good walk in the woods, connection to the ground bare feet, its therapy and feels tickly and good …. we hear!
Healthy Diet
Food is either Medicine or Poison. Quick Easy access to nutritious food supports overall health and well-being. Make it easy by having no options in the house! If your Grandma can’t not recognize it or name it then it's not good food!
Physical Activity
Encouraging movement and exercise improves physical health and mobility. We do arrange for different deep to light tissue massages, hot stone therapy, acupuncture to keep the blood flowing, improve circulation and flexibility and mobility which reduces joint pains etc.
Mental Stimulation
When we stop learning and growing, we begin to die….… Continuous learning and engagement prevent cognitive decline and maintains mental sharpness. Board games, Bingo, Reading, exploring and taking on new hobbies is a great way to stay alive and sharp.
Purposeful Living
Having goals and a sense of purpose contributes to a fulfilling and extended life. We do encourage all our Seniors years to set new goals, have new mile stones, contribute more to humanity etc. This turns out to be a real needle mover for longevity, emotional stability and happiness which are all great things for our loved ones.
